This Lenovo Press paper presents an introduction to the use of Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) on Lenovo Networking switches. One key benefit of deploying FCoE is the network becomes physically easier to manage because a single wiring plant with a single server adapter can provide SAN and LAN functionality.
This paper is intended as a brief reference for network engineers and administrators as an introduction to FCoE and its use on Lenovo products.
