Five World Record SPECjbb2015 Benchmark Results for 4-Socket ThinkSystem SR950Performance Benchmark Result
The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR950 server has set five new 4-socket performance world records for both the SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM and SPECjbb2015-Distributed and SPECjbb2015-Composite benchmarks.

November 8, 2017 ... Lenovo has published leadership four-processor (4P) performance results for the SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM, Distributed and Composite benchmarks, running on the ThinkSystem SR950 server.
SPECjbb2015 is a Java Business Benchmark and is the SPEC benchmark used for evaluating the performance of servers running typical Enterprise Java applications.
The ThinkSystem SR950 achieved the following five top SPECjbb2015 scores:
- 355,121 SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM max-jOPS
- 233,071 SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM critical-jOPS
- 359,067 SPECjbb2015-Distributed max-jOPS
- 268,287 SPECjbb2015-Composite max-jOPS
- 190,787 SPECjbb2015-Composite critical-jOPS
The ThinkSystem SR950 was configured as follows:
- Intel Xeon Platinum 8180 processor
- 2.5 GHz with 38.5 MB L3 cache per processor
- 4 processors, 112 total cores, 28 cores per processor
- Lenovo TruDDR4 system memory:
- 768 GB for the MultiJVM max-jOPS and Distributed max-jOPS benchmarks
- 1.5 TB for all other benchmarks
- Operating system:
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP2 for the MultiJVM max-jOPS and Distributed max-jOPS benchmarks
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.3 for all other benchmarks
- Oracle Java HotSpot 64-bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_144.
