Six New World Record SPECjbb2015 Benchmark Results for 1-Socket ThinkSystem SR650Performance Benchmark Result
The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 server has set a six new 1-socket performance world records for the SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM, SPECjbb2015-Distributed and SPECjbb2015-Composite benchmarks.
This document summarizes the the SPECjbb2015 benchmark results for the ThinkSystem SR650 that were published on November 8, 2017. The document lists the result, summarizes the major components of the configuration under test, and provides the link to the relevant benchmark organization’s web site for details about the result.
November 8, 2017 ... Lenovo has published six leadership one-processor (1P) performance results for the SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM, SPECjbb2015-Distributed and SPECjbb2015-Composite benchmarks.
SPECjbb2015 is a Java Business Benchmark and is the SPEC benchmark used for evaluating the performance of servers running typical Enterprise Java applications.
The ThinkSystem SR650 achieved the following six top SPECjbb2015 scores:
- 89,767 SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM max-jOPS
- 64,196 SPECjbb2015-MultiJVM critical-jOPS
- 88,750 SPECjbb2015-Distributed max-jOPS
- 65,293 SPECjbb2015-Distributed critical-jOPS
- 86,843 SPECjbb2015-Composite max-jOPS
- 77,009 SPECjbb2015-Composite critical-jOPS
These results prove the ThinkSystem SR650 performs the best in the industry for throughput and latency intensive workloads.
The SR650 was configured as follows:
- Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650
- 1x Intel Xeon Platinum 8180
- 2.5 GHz with 38.5 MB L3 cache per processor
- 1 processor, 28 cores
- Lenovo TruDDR4 memory:
- 192 GB for the MultiJVM max-jOPS and Distributed max-jOPS benchmarks
- 384 GB for all other benchmarks
- Operating system:
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP2 for the MultiJVM max-jOPS and Distributed max-jOPS benchmarks
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.3 for all other benchmarks
- Oracle Java HotSpot 64-bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_144
