Ruzhu Chen is an IBM Certified Expert IT Specialist in the IBM HPC life sciences solution team. He leads technical support for computational chemistry and NGS applications such as NWChem, AMBER, NAMD, CLC Assembly Cell, and BLAST. He provides application enablement, tuning, optimization and benchmarks for IBM world-wide partners and clients. He has more than 10 years of expertise in HPC application tuning and optimization, and has engaged in numeral application solutions enablements on IBM Power and x86_64 architectures. Ruzhu holds B.S. and M.S degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Sciences and Technology of China, and an M.S. in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma.
